Well, thrillers are never very far out of fashion and women using their wits in the face of danger is always better than some lunkhead calling in airstrikes. This being said, the Gin Phillips book about the mom in the zoo sounds pretty contrived-lemme guess-she and her adorable son (who's got medical issues of some trendy kind) maneuver the bad guy into falling into the tiger compound just as the cavalry arrives... Betcha I'm not too far off here, although it's probably good silly fun. Good luck on your thriller hunt-but if a ride in a Ford Explorer makes you nervous, we'd best leave the tarp on the Ferrari, eh, what?
