It’s too bad we don’t live closer so I could give you all the books I give away! I constantly cull my shelves and I’ve even been known to take an exacto knife and remove the signed page before giving a copy away!

I basically have two criteria for keeping books, and not many make the cut. Either I want to be able to read it at a moment’s notice (Betsy-Tacy, Nevil Shute, John Rowe Townsend, Jerry Spinelli and a few more) OR I know I’ll want to read it again sometime but it might be hard to replace or borrow from the library.

While you can’t benefit from my culling, lots of people on this island do!
