Also Hello Giggles which is a blog for girls (YA writers should follow this one) that’s amusing but PC to the point that no matter how ridiculous anyone’s being (This Brave Blue-Haired 6-year old takes a stand for {whomever} rights!!!) it’s considering of absolute seriousness-rather like one of those also-ran children’s
sports events where all the kids get a prize just for showing up. And YA Highway, although posting a comment is a pretty user-hostile process. Good blogs are hard to find these days; as someone or other said awhile back, “Twitter is where people who have nothing interesting to say can say it in 140 characters or less…” Anyone even marginally interested in this game should be required by law to follow the DGLM blog whether they have plans to put a trading boat ashore or not, of course…
