Then she went on a hair-raising reminiscence about an assistant at her old agency who’d been given first rejection say on incoming projects that she (the agent) had flagged for a closer look. It later transpired that her helper was quietly drowning anything that looked like competiton for her own work, and that one of the projects she killed was an early submission of TWILIGHT! I sure none of that applies here, and I really enjoyed your post.
