Over the last little while I’ve really taken a good look at my writing. I’m afraid I’m one of those authors who doesn’t fit squarely into a genre, so your comment about showing something to an editor they’ve never seen before resonated with me. My writing contains both suspenseful and thrilling components but my story engine runs on surprise.My characters visit out of the way and exotic locals. Readers turn pages because they don’t know what is tied to the tracks up ahead. They expect the unexpected. I’ve got the quirky and the unexplained (dare I say it? the humorous and paranormal).
I write romantic adventure…and I’d love to send you one of my six completed manuscripts (I have that ghost story you mentioned, wounded hero stories, even a romantic horror). Sheesh, I’m scaring myself.
