A lot of his inspiration for his illustrations can be found in La Jolla Village and its surroundings.

I love when a single song feels like a novel. Two that inspire me are Mumford & Sons’ “The Cave” and Deathcab for Cutie’s “Soul Meets Body”–songs that make you feel like you’ve been taken along on a dream.
