I’ve loved the conferences I’ve attended but feel like this will be a great next step (in a more intimate environment). I think it’ll be twelve of us in the house, along with three editors and two agents. I get a critique from all of them on my manuscript and that right there is worth the price of the retreat. Plus, I’ve never had 5 days without the kids where I can just sit and write. Did I mention I’m excited?
