I had an ARC and devoured it. I have to say it is truly a topic (school shooting…don't worry that comes out right away, I'm not giving anything away) that I normally avoid because I'm kind of wimpy, but it is handled beautifully and delicately and elegantly. And even humorously because the MC has Asperger's so she doesn't see the situation the same way everyone else does. It's painful, but it's stunning. And as I'm telling everyone, just because I can, after I read it, I posted on my blog and Twitter, "This book will win awards!"

The story stabs you right in the heart, and the writing is gorgeous. I was so glad to read your comments about her speech.

I was also glad to see that Terence Hayes won for poetry. I saw him read once and it was a treat.
